Cooper GLS Touring review

Our Cooper GLS Touring Review will help you have a better look at Cooper’s excellent Lifeliner tire range. Generally, this product is a cost-effective touring tire designed for drivers of almost all coupes, minivans, and sedans.

As expected from the prestigious tire manufacturer Cooper, GLS Touring tire excels at delivering consistent traction in wet and dry conditions. It also performs a fantastic job of providing a long tread life and sustainable comfort.

Here are the primary specifications of Cooper GLS Touring:

  • Tire size: 195/70R14 91T
  • UTQG: 440AA
  • Load index: 91 (1356 lbs)
  • Ply rating: SL
  • Tread depth (1/32″): 9.5
  • Reliable traction on wet and dry surfaces
  • Provides a pleasant and quiet ride
  • Durable tread
  • Sharp steering
  • Lacking cornering capabilities
  • Weak traction performance under the snowy weather

Cooper GLS Touring Review: Test Drive

First of all, Cooper GLS Touring is equipped with a top-notch tread compound that ensures dependable performance in wet and dry conditions.

Besides, after testing a set of GLS Touring for a few months, we realized that numerous circumferential grooves on the tire help improve its winter grip while also lowering the possibility of hydroplaning.

In addition, compared to other manufacturers’ products in the same price range, this brand possesses multiple sipes on the tire. As a result, it can provide biting edges for grip on icy terrain, allowing your trucks to move smoothly despite abrupt movements.

Despite demonstrating a fair performance under light snow, the product loses its traction on ice and deep snow. We strongly believe that it would be a perfect alternative if Cooper plans on improving this point.

Besides, GLS Touring is equipped with central rib and shoulder blocks, increasing the tire’s stability and steering characteristics. These features also aid in extending the tread’s life and guarantee even wear.

This tire’s pitch arrangement has also been designed to provide a high comfort level while reducing noise during the ride. Hence, you won’t feel irritated by the sound that low-quality tires usually make, especially on bumpy roads.

Regarding the price, Cooper GLS Touring proves to be a reasonable choice though the exact price varies based on the specifications and size you select. No matter which option you purchase, Cooper always provides customers with a warranty to make sure that you’re satisfied with their product.

Having tested this set of tires with our sedan, this Cooper GLS Touring Review aims to share the wonderful experiences we’ve had with these tires. During the last three months, the tread proves to be durable as it can sustain several types of bumpy surfaces.

In addition to the excellent traction and control under different circumstances, the price is pretty reasonable for those on a budget.

Cooper tires have been my favorite brand for a long time, so it was only right that I upgraded the tires on my Altima. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I decided to give the GLS a shot. It is extremely reliable on both wet and dry surfaces. It is also very affordable compared to other tires in its class. It is highly recommended!

Are you looking for reliable traction? You can check. Check. Check. 45-day trial period Check. This tire is all-round. The GLS has been my favorite tire for a long time. If you live in an area that snows a lot, you might want to consider buying a different tire.
