Personal Opinion

What We Like

A touch may evaluate the durability of this tire on it. Its compound is pretty sticky once you’ve rubbed over the first covering. The racing structure’s grip resin and fin carbon combination give the greatest traction required for competitive operating circumstances.

The use of a strong skeleton with an optimized dimension design can minimize lateral twisting pressures and improves the durability and lifespan of the tire.

To be honest, the tire’s flexibility is simply excellent. Because of its asymmetric construction, this tire may be spun to all outer edges rather than simply front-to-back. However, the product cannot be rotated on the steer if the outside edge becomes deteriorated.

Besides, we found that the overall grip was outstanding. The outer tread loop pattern of the tire makes braking exceedingly smooth and rapid. Because of this tire’s superb durability and grip, we could handle this automobile on the road to the fullest.

Furthermore, in terms of dampening and noise reduction, the tire performs well.

You may be worried that you will feel the automobile crashing at the limit, and that vibration will be detected when you are driving. However, the Kumho Ecsta V730 is not the case. You can override it, and it will give you a very slight soft push while still allowing you to make any turn.

When going through rough and bumpy roads, we felt little noise. It can create a sense of safety and comfort for the driver.

What Need Improvement

A minus point for this tire is that it cannot operate at full capacity in cool or wet conditions. Its traction efficiency will decrease in extreme wet or cold surfaces.

Besides, although the tread grooves help level up traction, they also make dirt and debris stick more. Except for water and mud that can come off easily, hard and sticky dirt can fill the grooves, reducing the friction and traction of the tires.

Target Customers

Drivers of high-performance sports cars, sedans, trucks, or supercars, seeking a tire designed to perform at the greatest level, will be satisfied with what the Kumho Ecsta V730 provides. The tire is ideal for individuals who enjoy sports and adventure activities.

Overall, the product offers impeccable durability and flexibility. Outer tread grooves increase friction and optimal traction.

Besides, the tire’s design helps it withstand bumps when traveling on rough roads and helps reduce noise for the driver. We hope that the tire review will help you choose a trustable buddy.

Testing the new v730s on my single cam turbo (300whp) was a pleasant surprise! These tires heat quickly and stay reliable even during enduro-type events. When their thread starts to wear, they become practically like slicks – although I haven’t experienced them in full-on rain yet. All in all, these are great for autocrossing conditions!

The majority of reviews so far have been very accurate. These are a fantastic addition to the Super 200TW line-up.
    Excellent steering response and accuracy.
    – Strong sidewalls and excellent resistance to rollover and shoulder wear. The stock class can only reach -1.7 degrees and has plenty of camber.
    – Looks narrower than the RE71R. Without being pinched, a 255/40/17 is happy on a 17×9.
    – Loves heat. It did not drop off after several 10/10ths of an attack lap in 85F heat.
    – It is not as great for autocross because it requires heat. However, a cold grip is acceptable.
They are water-resistant and can use in the rain, but not in standing water.
    – Tire wear appears to be reasonable (less than RE71R), and so far, I have done 3 auto crosses as well as one track day with five sessions. I am between 6.5-7.0/32nds (started at 8/32nds on the gauge).
    – They seem to be content with lower pressures.
    – Talkative to the limit.

The overall value is outstanding. Although the A052 can win both dry and wet autocross events, it will wear its outer shoulders more quickly and will need a wider wheel and camber for maximum performance. The tire is excellent for non-optimized setups. It will last longer and still be fast in warm, dry conditions. This tire is my favorite for regional autocross competitions, HPDE, and time attack competitions. The A052 is the best choice for competition at a national level.

I had an experience of a lifetime racing 24 Hours Of Lemons at Thompson in the US with my 1989 Ford Mustang. With tight turns and space to stretch out, it was quite challenging – but great! They call this track a “Cheater slick” which made for some interesting impressions on Friday when testing worn-out Falkens.

To get the most possible advantage, we decided to apply tire curing methods that included putting a driver out there for 10-12 hours before race day began and then reducing pressure slightly over 38psi once Saturday arrived – I’m sure those processes helped us achieve our successful results at the start line!

On a particularly hot day of the journey, I decided to forgo a driver change – quickly discovering this was not an ideal decision. After inspecting my car at the end of the day, blistering on one edge in center rib from excessively high PSI became apparent. Fortunately bringing on another hoed soon after improved tire temperature and pressure; they were great all throughout Day two with daytime temperatures hovering around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along with some cloud cover but still feeling humid. To make sure I would continue having successful days ahead, there was also rotation made between front tires and rears which resulted in 10psi growth going from 29 psi cold to 38-39 psihot VS 7psi compare able to what happened previously.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the tires held up, thanks in part to our addition of a swaybar which made the car feel nice and loose. My drivers described its handling as “greasy,” but after several aggressive laps I felt that they were heating up too quickly so I had to take it down a notch for them to cool off. It worked every time!

After using these tires on two track weekends, I am highly impressed with their level of responsiveness and consistency. The grip they offer is impressive, right up there with my BFG Rival1.5 S from autocross days – yet more progressive than the Rivals themselves! Though loud when first applied, after getting accustomed to them you’ll find street noise decreases remarkably – though it’s probably best not for sleeping purposes anyway all things considered.

These particular iterations appear void of any delamination issues that were discussed online in regards to V720 tire models – plus wear has been absolutely fantastic as well; making this a great option considering its price point alone! Suffice-it-to say: if given the opportunity again, I would definitely repurchase these same tires without hesitation
