About Goodyear

Goodyear has been the household brand for people who want to get themselves high-quality tires. With 120 years of history in the market, the manufacturer constantly produces tires that excellently meet customers’ expectations. Let’s go through our Goodyear Reliant All-season to gain insights into the features of an outstanding presentative among those products!

Goodyear Reliant All-Season Reviews

Traction

The Reliant provides customers with an amazing grip on both wet and dry roads when it comes to traction. They apply the Aquatred technology to deliver a tenacious grip, especially in wet weather. Specifically, the Aquatred tires have a deep groove in the middle, which acts as a channel to pump out the water where the tires meet the road.

This can prevent water from getting into the space between the wheel and the road surface, minimizing the chances of accidents resulting from loss of traction.

The brand uses the optimized tread design to produce better tires for wet braking. The wheel’s material, the specialized rubber compound, also contributes to maintaining its brilliant wet contraction.

There are no worries about the product’s performance on snowy days as those features above will carry into winter.

Treadwear

With a treadwear rating of 600, the Reliant tires are six times more durable than the standard ones. This manufacturer provides a warranty of 65,000 miles Limited Treadwear, the same length as their Assurance.

Noise

Goodyear Reliant All-season promises customers a quiet and comfortable ride with their product. They feature asymmetric tread patterns on their wheels to suppress noise while improving traction, cornering, and handling capabilities simultaneously.

Pros & Cons

Pros
  • Good traction, especially on wet surfaces
  • Comfortable handling
  • Reasonable price
  • Reliable tread patterns
Cons
  • Quite noisy

Personal Opinion

Coming to our review, aside from the information the brand offers, you also get to know our user experience of the product in reality.

Traction

It seems like this feature is the competitive edge of the product. Although many “seem to be biased” opinions, Goodyear Reliant tires’ traction still receives a lot of compliments in the three and four rating stars.

When we tried the product for ourselves, it delivered a wonderful performance. We test it in central Texas, where it has been rainy for several days. The wheel gripped the road really well. It was able to make a stop at the same distance as when the road was dry.

As for snowy weather, the performance is no less amazing. The feature on the wheel surface enables us to drive safely on the slippery road without feeling any slippage.

Handling

Firstly, we have to say that the tread design is nice. They do enhance handling capacities as advertised. The wheel was able to absorb the path’s harshness, smoothing the ride significantly. In sharp turns, the sidewall also rolled more flexibly.

Comfort

This is probably the biggest difference between advertisement and reality. The brand assures that customers will get to enjoy a quiet ride with their asymmetrical pattern.

However, the ride we got in return was not quiet at all. There was a constant humming noise when we were driving. The noise got louder when we were on the highway, which could even drown out the music inside the car.

Should You Make A Purchase?

It’s getting nearer to the end of our review, but you still can’t make up your mind yet. Let’s go through some final words to see if this brand’s product is really for you.

In a nutshell, Reliant All-season provides you with a wheel made of good material, Aquatred technology, and nice patterns for a better experience at an affordable price. The only downfall is the noise it produces while running.

If you are a stickler for comfort while driving, you can spare a little bit more money to get all-around tires that make little to no noise.

However, should your budget be limited, and noise is not a big problem, then go for Good year Reliant All-season. They are stylish, safe, and more economical when compared to other models in the market.

Recently, I upgraded the tires on my 2017 Lexus RX350 (SUV) to Goodyear Reliant 235/65 R18’s. Right away,I knew it was a great decision! The comfort and performance is beyond satisfactory; driving over pothole-ridden streets of Chicago has never been smoother than with these reliable all season tires. Even during rainy days or snow storms in this windy city, there isn’t anything that can stop me from getting where I need to be safely and comfortably – thanks to the quiet steady ride provided by GoodYear Reliants!

And what’s more impressive: they offer unsurpassed durability for long lasting enjoyment of their features across any terrain – dry pavement or wet roadways alike. As if we needed even further confirmation that our selection was sound—time will definitely tell as soon as we get them out on those snowy roads after winter arrives!

These tires are a fantastic choice for wet and dry surfaces. I’m excited to put them through their paces in the snow, with more peace of mind knowing they have a tread wear rating of 600. Even though my driving is mostly around town, the limited warranty of 65000 miles provides ample coverage – enabling us to make two-hour trips this past weekend without any issues!

On top of that, these superior performance tires provide great value: not only do they offer further specs than expected but also handle loading items into an SUV easily – both on Eco and sports modes! Given at discounted price in exchange for honest feedback; it’s clear these tyres really are great.

I recently upgraded my KIA Sorento with new tires and I instantly felt the improved traction! On wet roads, it was a world of difference – no more sliding or hydroplaning. What’s more, driving has become smoother and quieter on longer drives like my daily 50-mile commute to work. It is great having reliable tires that make each drive safer and enjoyable!

The Good Year Reliant tires perfectly complemented my Mercedez Benz GLC 300 4-Matic and were installed swiftly to ensure I could experience their superb qualities as soon as possible. With over 100 miles driven, the ride is smooth but with enhanced stability – something which was felt even when cornering sharply or driving in wet conditions; no skidding! The tire tread design gives confidence for traversing snowy terrain too. All this combined makes a luxurious yet reliable drive that you can trust on the roads ahead of you!

With the Good Year tires I can feel confident that my family will be safe on our daily drives. Not only are these lower in price than Pirelli, but they have also demonstrated excellent performance in terms of road noise reduction, traction and grip – a great value for any driver! With this honest feedback given, you can trust what I’ve said to make an informed decision about your own choice of tires.

I was expecting a much smoother ride with this set of Goodyear tires but unfortunately, they haven’t been able to live up to my expectations. The result is an uncomfortable experience driving in what feels like a wagon instead. I wish there had been another option available so as not be faced with such disappointment when purchasing them.

I’m delighted to have found my perfect set of tires in the Goodyear Reliant All-Season! As a resident of WV, which experiences all four seasons, these are an ideal solution for me.

I recently tested them on wet roads during flooding events and was thrilled with their superior traction – not to mention how great they look, remain quiet when driven over blacktop or gravel surfaces and offer a smooth ride without ever losing air pressure.

After such positive results from testing out this product at reduced cost in exchange for my honest review, I can say with confidence that these will perform admirably through winter weather too!

Despite being 59 and feeling overwhelmed by the size of my order, I had no choice but to purchase four hefty 18-inch tires at a cost of nearly $500. Unsurprisingly, this was not an experience that left me wishing for more; hence why I won’t be returning in search of tires any time soon!
