Come to our Continental Extremecontact DWS tire reviews, and you will be fully enlightened. Continental Extremecontact DWS tires are part of Continental’s Ultra High-Performance All-Season range, designed for different sports cars.

DWS stands for Dry, Wet, Snow, and Continental uses the most advanced technologies to produce their tires.

A distinctive feature of DWS tires is helping users easily observe wear through the Adjusted Performance Indicator technology. This advanced technology helps the driver check the tire’s condition quickly and replace it before the tire is too worn, thanks to the opacity of the letters D, W, S on the tire.

The tires have an asymmetrical spike design with a continuously notched mid-rib that increases adhesion on the road surface. Simultaneously, the independent shoulder blocks and higher angle grooves help increase driving stability and quickly stop when braking.

Tires are constructed of improved Silica material, Silane additive combined with Continental‘s Sport Plus technology to increase vehicle stability when driving on snow and wet roads.

When braking quickly, the tire reacts. The car stops immediately and does not slip excessively. This is a special feature that is unique to Continental Extremecontact DWS tires.

Continental Extremecontact DWS has many traction tracks, allowing the car to grip well, conquer slippery roads and snow roads. More specifically, the tire has only three extensive center circumference grooves but has good water dissipation ability, which improves the tire’s grip on wet pavement.

On other brands of All-Season tires, it only works well with thin snow. However, Continental Extremecontact DWS is capable of running well on snow, even thick ice.

Besides, the tire is capable of absorbing shocks, helping to ensure stability. center of the vehicle when passing through potholes

Continental Extremecontact DWS tire reviews: Pros and Cons

Ability to run on snowy roads

In my experience, it depends on two factors: the opacity of the S on the tire and the amount of snow on the road. If the letter S is still evident, you can rest assured that it runs well in the snow. However, in areas with frequent heavy snowfall, specialized winter tires should still be used.

Stability in wet roads

Continental Extremecontact DWS shows its superiority at this point. Tires are always firmly attached to the road surface, ensuring the driver’s strength and stability even when running at high speeds on even the wettest roads.

Ability to run well on dry roads

Stability, adhesion on dry roads is perfect. The tire has a pretty good grip when braking, ensuring safety while driving.

Comfort when driving

Usually, when the tire adhesion is high, a lot of noise is generated on the road. But Continental Extremecontact DWS works relatively quietly and does not make much noise even at high speeds. Simultaneously, the control of the car is also quite comfortable, gentle but still feels solid, safe while driving.

Should you buy Continental Extremecontact DWS tires?

The answer is yes. However, the cost is higher than other high-performance tires. Year-round performance, control, and safety while driving are entirely worth the money. Also, if you are a sports car fan, you should think about the versatility of the Continental Extremecontact DWS.
