Hankook Tire & Technology is the largest tire manufacturer in Korea and the sixth-largest in the world. The company has a reputation for a reasonable prices, top quality, and various tire types for different uses. 

One of the most popular product lines of Hankook is the superior off-road tire – Dynapro MT. The company presented it as an all-season all-terrain tire intended for SUVs and 4x4s. Let’s dig deeper into our review to decide whether the tire lives up to all the marketing hype.

Dynapro MT tire is equipped with nylon-reinforced belts to provide more strength for improved steering stability and performance.

Hankook created Dynapro MT RT03 with a great Side Protection Block running from the tread pattern to the sidewall’s center. It gives the tire the ability to protect against protruding items and effectively absorb pothole shock. The design also contributes to enhanced traction in soft ground such as dirt, mud and sand.

There are plenty of open and wide grooves on the tire’s surface. These patterns prevent the dirt from packing the tread to further improve traction.

Dynapro MT has the M+S marking on it, so it meets the requirements for driving in snowy and muddy conditions. However, the handling leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to wet and icy surfaces.

From our point of view, Hankook Dynapro MT RT03 has an excellent design. Its rugged, fierce look is suitable for hardcore off-road drivers who pursue an aggressive style. The tire is not only a tool for driving but also a decorative item for the car.

The tire performs impressively on most terrains while maintaining decent performance when returning back to highways. In case you are looking for a couple of general-purpose tires, Hankook Dynapro MT is a rational choice.

The ride is comfortable and smooth. Plus, you will be amazed at the long-lasting tread wear of this model as long as you perform tire rotation periodically.

Most reviews will agree that the low level of noise is the real bright spot of Dynapro MT compared with other mud terrain tires. Verify it for yourself, it is much quieter than we expected.

The affordable price is another competitive edge of the Dynapro MT RT 03. The item’s durability depends on your usage frequency, driving skills and how you preserve it. From our point of view, Dynapro MT has a great tread life.

    It’s incredible how Hankook MT tires can take such a beating! I purchased them for my 1995 Z71 Chevy truck in June 2014, and after 50,000 miles of driving on rocky roads and through snowy terrain here in Utah, they’re still holding strong. Not only are these tyres incredibly reliable – the 285/75/R16 set was an amazing bang-for-your buck purchase that leaves me wishing it came with even larger sizes like 40 or 42 inch options too!

    Plus – don’t forget that with a little finesse, they can also be used to spin around in place—just put your feet up front before maneuvering them into gear!

    I’m amazed by the performance of these tires on my jeep; they handle cornering in wet weather without breaking traction, and are barely audible when driving. I’m confident that their winter capabilities will prove just as impressive – absolutely worth a try!

    Last month, I made the exciting switch to Yokohama AT tires on my AWD Chevy Astro van – and what a difference! The road noise was much less than expected. My experience in muddy pastures with Hankook MTs was nothing short of remarkable; they handled it like a dream. Soon enough, these same incredible tyres will be going onto my Dodge 2500 which is sure to make for an enjoyable ride thanks to their exceptional performance & quality.
