Nitto Crosstek 2 Review

Nitto Crosstek 2 comes from Take Nitto, which is a subsidiary of Toyo. The Japanese tire company mainly focuses on producing affordable performance tires and investing in SUVs, crossover, and truck tires in the past few years.

Let’s start with the Nitto Crosstek 2 Review with significant features that make this kind of tire stand out from the crowd.

For areas where surface conditions are wet and snowy, this is a product that provides enough traction to motivate your truck through these surfaces. This is thanks to the product with an amazing asymmetrical spiny shape.

Especially, this Nitto Crosstek 2 has a distinctive design with 3 deep perimeter grooves so water can drain out of the tires. This special point shows that the product is amazingly waterproof. You no longer worry about walking in heavy rain.

The tire spikes that can reduce flex are excellent. Because it will increase the grip of the tires on the road surface, the car will go more stable. And this tire product has chunky tread blocks which are designed to add a series of 3D multi-wave sipes that are closely linked together, so the tread’s flexion is reduced. However, when driving on slippery surfaces such as snow weather, these sipes act as teeth or bite edges to create traction.

Nitto makes efforts to enhance the width and position of these channels so as not to affect the stable contact patch of the rubber while still developing water evacuation.

Nitto Crosstek 2 Tire Review: Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The serrated part has a dense arrangement, plus 3 grooves with a deep circumferential design.
  • 60,000-mile treadwear warranty
  • 3D Multi-Wave sipes increase traction on wet surfaces
  • Low noise level
  • Service indicators help improve monitoring quality.
Cons
  • A little expensive
  • Need more improvement in light snow traction

Nitto Crosstek 2 Test Drive

Through the Nitto Crosstek 2 Review, this kind of tire will be the most suitable tire for many types of cars.

As we mentioned above, the Nitto Crosstek has the most suitable traction for all kinds of surfaces, such as dry, wet, snowy. Hence, the Nitto Crosstek tires will be the perfect selection for drivers.

After many drives using these tires, we can conclude that it is completely safe on both rural and city roads due to the impressive traction. With three circumferential grooves, the tires can easily sweep away water, and the tread is also effectively maintaining contact with the road.

We were able to test them for the drainage effect of this product. The design of patterns and arrangement of thorns is truly unique. In addition, to be able to move in the wet road smoothly, the 3D Multi-wave sipes block functions to increase the grip of the tire.

Another prominent feature is the tread indicators of this product is visible. We won’t need to worry about wear, maintenance, or rotating tires with these indicators. If you are on a tight budget or looking for the perfect tires, the price and light snow traction will be two disadvantages. However, when compared to other tires on the market at the same price, the Crosstek 2 is outstanding with better quality. Their performance can satisfy the strictest drivers.

The Nitto Crosstek 2 provides a limited treadwear warranty that you can avail. For instance, owners with all types of tire sizes can avail their mileage warranty. For Non-Lt metric sizes with a T and S speed rating, they are eligible to avail the 60,000 miles limited treadwear warranty. Also, Non-Lt metric sizes with an H and V speed rating are backed with a 50,000 miles limited warranty.

This weekend I made an unexpected, yet worthwhile purchase – new tires for my MDX. A look through the service records revealed it had been almost six years since they were replaced!

After scouting around and comparing specs, I eventually found a set that met all of my needs and fit within budget. Although slightly noisier than desired, overall these tires are proving to be quite a good investment indeed!

My brother had always raved about Nitto tires, so I decided to give them a try and have been delighted ever since! After only a few thousand miles of use, it’s clear these high-quality tires will last for up to 45,000 – impressive performance indeed.

After a full three years and 102,000 miles of use with my Toyota Tacoma 2012, the Nitto Crosstek tires have proven their value – I still got plenty of tread left in them!

Although they may not be ideal for driving through the rain, these tires are so dependable that I’m sticking to using only Nittos from now on. Plus as an added bonus, since routine tire rotations occur every 3-4000 miles; I get maximum benefit out of each set without fail.

My Toyota Tacoma 2012 has used Nitto Crosstek tires for the past three years, lasting an impressive 102,000 miles with plenty of tread. Though they offer great performance in snowy conditions I would advise against them as their slip and slide when it rains. The 2009 Ford F150 SuperCrew 4X4 was my first vehicle to rotate these particular set of tires – so far never letting me down even during Missouri’s deep snowfalls measuring up to 22 inches!

With a commitment to safe driving, I recently sold my truck with tires that still had plenty of life in them – 7/32nd of tread remaining! To make sure the new vehicle was as reliable and secure on the roads, I opted for another set of Crosstek tires. With care and regular maintenance checks like air pressure balancing; this trusted dependable brand has remained true over time – perfect for any journey!
